Sun Dog Cafe.

Locally owned and operated on St. John since 1994, Sun Dog Cafe is consistently rated in the top 5 restaurants on Cruz Bay on Tripadvisor.  Sun Dog serves an open air Brunch, Lunch and Dinner to our green umbrella tables in the center courtyard of Mongoose Junction to a mix of visitors and locals as well.  A New York Times Travel and Leisure pick for St. John, the “remarkable menu” is prepared in a kitchen the size of a Volkswagen Beetle” and is an eclectic mix of casual foods, amazing fish tacos, inventive sandwiches, chicken roti, some very good TexMex, and more.  The menu includes vegan and vegetarian items, plus gluten free (within the limitation of our small kitchen).  Frozen and signature cocktails are served by our full service bar, the Gecko Gazebo, a great social spot overlooking the center courtyard of Mongoose Junction.

Open from 9am to 9pm, reservations are not needed, just drop on by anytime.  Great live music on Wednesday and Friday nights, from 6 to 8:30pm, with guest artists regularly. Check our website and/or Facebook for up to the minute menu and event information.
